Payment Options

Triple Crown Legal will accept the following forms of payment:

• Cash
• Credit Card
• Money Order
• Check  
• Contingency Fee
 (applicable civil matters)

BARTER

We realize that some clients are unable to pay cash or secure credit for legal services, and as such Triple Crown Legal occasionally accepts BARTER or payment in kind for legal services.

Triple Crown Legal, at its discretion, may accept the following items used as barter for legal services or payment in kind:

• Jewelry
• Gold/Silver/Platinum Coins/Rounds/Bars/Bullion
• Crypto Currency
• Firearms and/or Ammunition
• Automobiles/Motorcycles/Watercraft
• Real Estate
• Artwork

All items must be owned free and clear by the client and not be subject to any liens, pledges or mortgages. If we do agree to accept an item of property in exchange for legal fees, we will ask the client to obtain and provide us a receipt for the item or an estimate of the current value of the item.

Any property accepted as barter must be under fair and reasonable terms. The property will be assessed Fair Market Value (FMV) at the time of the agreement. Any property subject to litigation or anticipated cause of action for which Triple Crown Legal is being retained may not be part of the bartered property. All terms must be disclosed and agreed to in writing and client will be given a reasonable opportunity to seek the advice of independent counsel regarding the transaction.

Ask about BARTERING if you do not have cash or credit but do have other property of value you may wish to exchange for legal representation.
